I was fascinated by this young generation, who grew up completely after the Soviet era, so different than people even just 10 years their senior. I noticed the generation leap the most when I was recording them talking — listening to them; all speaking English, all with the same jargon, interests and references as youth in any other European capital city. It was an interesting contrast to the history-riddled backdrop of Tbilisi.
